Queen Creek

Queen Creek’s agrarian roots are quite deep and definitely define its history. The area of Queen Creek really began to take its shape around the time that Arizona became a state in 1912. With the railroad, general store, church, and post office, Queen Creek’s roots really took hold alongside the Queen Creek Wash. The Town of Queen Creek was incorporated on September 5th, 1989.

Queen Creek, much like many of its Southeast Valley counterparts, is mostly a bedroom community with the majority of its residents commuting into the city for work. However, with the continued residential and commercial growth Queen Creek continues to establish its employment base.
