Queen Creek

Named as one of Forbes Magazine friendliest towns in America, Queen Creek is a town situated in both Maricopa and Pinal Counties. With a population of around 27,000 people Queen Creek offers a quaint small town feel with high owner-occupancy rates and plenty of new and future construction to boot. Spanning almost 26 square miles Queen Creek is situated deep in East Valley with fantastic views of the San Tan Mountains, small town agrarian feel, continued commercial growth, and a real sense of community.

History

Queen Creek’s agrarian roots are quite deep and definitely define its history. The area of Queen Creek really began to take its shape around the time that Arizona became a state in 1912. With the railroad, general store, church, and post office, Queen Creek’s roots really took hold alongside the Queen Creek Wash. The Town of Queen Creek was incorporated on September 5th, 1989.

Queen Creek, much like many of its Southeast Valley counterparts, is mostly a bedroom community with the majority of its residents commuting into the city for work. However, with the continued residential and commercial growth Queen Creek continues to establish its employment base.
